Ronaldo Medium Less Sharp, Di Matteo: It Just Ordinary People
Schalke – Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is not segarang usually in front of the opponent’s goal. Ronaldo is currently experiencing a decrease in productivity, although it did not reduce the high valuation Schalke coach Roberto Di Matteo.
In the period from August to December, the Portuguese international 30-year-old had scored a total of 31 goals in all competitions. But that number dropped dramatically since the turn of the year.
Of the eight games so far in 2015, Ronaldo could collect only four goals. Since January 18, he was not even able to increase the coffers of goals aka absent opponent goalkeeper in three consecutive games.
Ahead of his visit to the headquarters of Schalke in the first leg of the Champions League last 16 on Thursday (19/02/2015) pm dawn, Madrid tactician Carlo Ancelotti has voiced the hope and belief that his mainstay players will start fertile again.
Di Matteo, who is in the opposite camp, also no doubt the ability and the potential threat of Ronaldo against his team’s goal. So of course he hopes Ronaldo will not start fertile again when faced with Schalke.
“He is a player that is truly exceptional – I think no one would argue with that. He has several times won the Ballon d’Or and he is always ready to be decisive game if needed. We must work together as a team unity to make sure he was involved as little as possible in the game, “said Di Matteo as preached US.
“He was just an ordinary man and he could not be expected to always look brilliant, but he was a footballer with exceptional quality. As I’ve said, he alone could be decisive in a game,” Di Matteo value of Ronaldo’s performance is declining.
